DermaSurg Skin Clinic is an independent primary care dermatology, skin cancer, and cosmetic skin clinic located in the center of the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

We are looking for a doctor with a strong interest in cosmetic and clinical dermatology as well as skin cancer management to join our team to meet strong patient demand.

About you

You want to join an independent skin clinic with a reputation for exceptional clinical care and outcomes. A keen interest in aesthetic and cosmetic treatments combined with an enthusiasm to broaden and deepen your knowledge in general dermatology, sets you apart from the average skin cancer doctor. You are familiar with evidence-based non-surgical treatments for skin cancer and are skilled in surgical excision of skin cancers.

Essential criteria: Unrestricted AHPRA registration; accreditation or certifications in skin cancer management (SCCA or equivalent), vocationally registered general practitioner or equivalent; Australian Citizenship or permanent resident status.

Desirable criteria:  Certification or training in aesthetic medicine (ACCSM, ASAM, or equivalent), MMed(Skin Cancer)  / MScDerm / Australian Institute of Dermatology Membership/Advanced Membership/Fellowship (or equivalent)

The details:

• Full or part time position options available
• Modern, well-equipped clinic with surgical suite, dedicated non-surgical treatment room, total body photography system with digital dermoscopy and DermoGraphix AI decision support, dermatology patient management system (Xestro) including integrated mole mapping capability, photodynamic therapy with dermal therapist support, cosmetic nurses to assist with aesthetic treatment plans.
• Cosmetic treatment modalities including microneedling, LED phototherapy, Tixel®, Transcend BBR, Profhilo, Rejuran, and standard injectables including hyaluronic acid fillers.
• Daniel is keen to provide further mentoring and hands-on training to help you progress on your skin cancer, clinical dermatology, and cosmetic treatments journey. We have two Fellows of the Australian Institute of Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute onsite for advice, teaching, and clinical support.
• Supportive administrative and clinical support staff
• Strong earning potential with above average split.
